The Early History
The Health Law Professors Conference has come so far since its early days! In the beginning, the Health Law Professors Conference was held every other year in Boston, sponsored by our good friends at Boston University. We also underwent a change in our numbering in 2003, so below you will find the old numbering in parentheses.

First We Became Annual…
After three successful conferences, it was time to make it an annual event.

…And Then We Went Further Afield
Starting with conference number 5, it was time to bring the conference to new locations! Universities around the country sponsored the conference and brought it to their cities. Every few years, however, we returned to the Greater Boston area that served as our launching pad.
