Adam I. Muchmore

Adam I. Muchmore is a Professor of Law at Penn State Law, where he has taught since 2010.  He focuses his research on food and drug regulation. He is the author of Food and Drug Regulation: A Statutory Approach (2021) and Food and Drug Regulation: Statutory and Regulatory Supplement (2023 Edition), both published by Carolina Academic Press.

Professor Muchmore graduated from Yale Law School, where he was co-editor-in-chief of the Yale Journal of International Law. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk to Judge Keith P. Ellison of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Judge Karen Nelson Moore of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He then worked as a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Sidley Austin LLP, where he focused his practice on the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Penn State Law, he was a Bigelow Teaching Fellow and Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago Law School.
