Coralia Vazquez-Otero

Coralia Vázquez-Otero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at the College of Health, Community and Policy at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is interested in 1) the prevention of HPV-related cancers via educating about and promoting the HPV vaccine, and 2) the use of evidence-based and population-based interventions (policy, screening) to prevent and improve cancer-related outcomes and eliminate health inequities. Dr. Vázquez-Otero completed a Cancer Prevention Fellowship at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and her Ph.D. at the University of South Florida College of Public Health. She is originally from Puerto Rico where she studied law at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
