Professor Cynthia Ho is the Clifford E. Vickrey Research Professor and Director of the Intellectual Property Program, at Loyola University of Chicago. Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of health and intellectual property issues in the domestic and international arenas. She has published articles in law reviews, authored an academic text with Oxford University Press, and contributed to international policy discussions. She is a peer reviewer of academic journals and an active member of local IP organizations, including serving on the executive board of the Intellectual Property Lawyers Association of Chicago. She teaches a variety of IP classes, including one that focuses on how international IP agreements impact access to affordable drugs. She also teaches Civil Procedure and has co-authored an interactive online text for Civil Procedure.
