Evelyn M. Tenenbaum is a Professor of Law and Director of the Health Law and Compliance Program at Albany Law School, a Professor of Bioethics at Albany Medical College, and a member of the Ethics Review Committee at Albany Medical Center. She graduated from Northwestern University and Cornell Law School and has published extensively in the areas of health law, bioethics, and civil rights. She also served in the New York State Attorney General’s Office as a Section Chief and Assistant Solicitor General, where she handled high profile health policy cases, and was a consultant to the New York State Department of Health. Her recent articles cover topics including organ transplantation, informed consent, civil rights, and dementia.
