Golda Philip

Golda Philip is a Supervising Attorney and Friedman Clinical Teaching Fellow for the Health Justice Policy and Advocacy Clinic in George Washington University School of Law.  Prior to joining GW Law School, Golda spent 16 years in progressively senior leadership roles across various agencies in the US Department of Health and Human Services including within the National Institutes of Health and the HHS Office for Civil Rights.  Most recently, she served as the Senior Advisor for Equity for the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) within the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), where she advanced the bureau’s national work to reduce disparities and achieve health equity in maternal and child health.   Prior to joining the federal government, she served as a Health Law Fellow at the National Women’s Law Center, where her worked focused on advocating for the needs of women and girls in state and federal health reform efforts.  She earned a BA at Stanford University, an MP.H at Tufts University School of Medicine, and a JD at Northeastern University School of Law.
