Jasmine Howard is the Program Director for the Salus Populi Program and serves as an adjunct teaching professor. The Salus Populi program educates and trains the judiciary about the social determinants of health and issues of population health throughout the country.
Prior to joining Northeastern Law, Jasmine has been a practicing legal professional dedicated to health law and public health. She worked as an associate attorney at Thornton Law Firm representing families in toxic exposure cases, and as an associate attorney at Murphy and Riley working on healthcare cases. Jasmine holds an LLM in Global Health Law and Governance from Georgetown University Law Center and the Graduate Institute of Geneva where she focused her research on global health inequities in maternal and child health and global health consensus building around pandemic preparedness. She received her BA from Boston College, her JD from Northeastern University School of Law, and her MPH from Tufts University School of Medicine.
