Lauren Walsh, MA, JD is a health care attorney, scholar and bioethicist with a focus on clinical research and emerging health technologies. She is currently working on a research project related to FDA regulation of medical products as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine within the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy. Lauren teaches the ethical and legal implications of biotechnology and human subjects research in the Master of Bioethics program at Harvard Medical School. She has published on issues such as research misconduct, research data preservation and integrity, and correcting the published research record, and her work has appeared in academic journals such as Accountability in Research, Qualitative Research in Psychology, and the Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics. Previously, Lauren practiced health law in the Office of General Counsel at Mass General Brigham, the Office of General Counsel at Harvard University, and the Health Care group at Ropes & Gray LLP. She received her AB from Harvard College, her MA from New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science, and her JD from New York University School of Law.
