Leah Fowler

Leah R. Fowler is a Research Assistant Professor and Research Director in the Health Law & Policy Institute at the University of Houston Law Center. Her work explores topics at the intersection of consumer technology and health, focusing primarily on smartphone applications and social media platforms. Her legal and empirical scholarship is published or forthcoming in the Georgetown Law Review, Stanford Law Review, Notre Dame Law Review, Pediatrics, and the American Journal of Bioethics, among others.

In Fall 2024, Professor Fowler will join the tenure track as an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston Law Center. She will teach Contracts and courses in health law.
