Linda A. Tvrdy

Linda Tvrdy is a legal and academic professional dedicated to promoting justice and social innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration. Before joining the Center for Health Policy and Law, Linda was the Associate Director of Health Science Entrepreneurship at Bouvé College of Health Sciences where she strategized new pathways for use-inspired, interdisciplinary research to accelerate its translation from the lab to the bedside.

Linda Tvrdy holds a Ph.D. in U.S. History from Columbia University where she specialized in the legal and intellectual history of Reconstruction. She also holds a law degree from George Washington University Law School.

Linda spent several years early in her career as a civil litigator. She practiced before both state and federal courts and represented clients in matters ranging in complexity from simple contract disputes to class actions and multi-district litigation.
