Lindsey Murtagh

Lindsey Murtagh, JD, MPH, is a Distinguished Senior Fellow in the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health in the Center for Advancing Health Policy through Research.  She previously served as the Director of the Division of Regulation and Policy at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  In this role, Lindsey played a key role in the development of federal policies related to private health insurance including policies related to the No Surprises Act, the Affordable Care Act, mental health parity, coverage of COVID-19 tests and vaccinations, and individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements. Lindsey received her JD from Harvard Law School, and her Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health.
