Megan Douglas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine and the Director of Research & Policy for the National Center for Primary Care (NCPC) at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM). She studies how laws and other policies can improve population health and advance health equity. Her research is largely focused on laws related to structural racism, social determinants of health, Medicaid, and the healthcare system, in particular primary care, digital health, and behavioral health. Professor Douglas is the Course Director for the Health Policy & Advocacy Rotation, which teaches MSM medical students and residents how they can amplify their voice through the policymaking process. She received her BS in Biology from Virginia Tech and her JD from Georgia State University College of Law. She completed the Health Policy Leadership Fellowship in the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at MSM.
