Rob Gatter is a Professor of Law at Saint Louis University School of Law in the Center for Health Law Studies. He was the Faculty Director or Co-Director of the Center for Health Law Studies for a total of 14 years. He is a co-author of Health Law: Cases, Materials & Problems (West Academic). He has published numerous articles and book chapters on public health law, informed consent, and human subjects research regulation among other topics. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he volunteered as the Reporter to a Uniform Law Commission project to draft the Model Public Health Emergency Authority Act, which was approved by the ULC in 2023.
