Sara Raza

Sara Raza is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law, where she teaches courses on Health Law and Digital Health. Prior to joining UW, she was a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Health Law and Policy Clinic at the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation of Harvard Law School (CHLPI). At CHLPI, Sara led broadband access and digital health projects aimed at improving access to care and addressing health-related social needs through high-speed internet access. As a result of this work, Sara was awarded the Opportunity Fund Fellowship by the Benton Institute for Broadband & Society. Sara’s research focuses on bridging the broadband–health gap by identifying policy pathways that better integrate broadband infrastructure into health care delivery and financing systems.

At CHLPI, Sara also advised nonprofit food banks on Medicaid and Medicare policy opportunities to expand access to medically tailored meals for individuals with diet-related chronic illnesses.

Sara’s scholarship has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including npj Digital Medicine, Cancer: An International Interdisciplinary Journal of the American Cancer Society and BMJ. She is also a Fellow of the Internet Law and Policy Foundry, a professional development organization for early-career law, technology, and policy professionals.
