Sidney D. Watson is the Jane and Bruce Robert Professor of Law and Scholar in Residence at the Center for Health Law Studies at Saint Louis University School of Law. She is a former legal services lawyer whose research focuses on issues relating to access to health care for the poor, racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and other disenfranchised groups. She has authored more than sixty law review articles, books, and other publications, including recent articles on Medicaid, health reform, and racial health equity. Professor Watson is chair of the Health Law Scholars Workshop co-sponsored by SLU and ASLME, and a former ASLME Jay Healey Teacher of the Year. She is the immediate Past-President of ASLME and a member of the Executive Committee.
