Wendy Epstein

Wendy Netter Epstein is Vincent de Paul Professor of Law, Associate Dean of Research and Faculty Professional Development, and Faculty Director of the Jaharis Health Law Institute at the DePaul University College of Law. Her teaching and research focus on health care law and policy, with an emphasis on the financing and delivery of health care, the creative application of behavioral economic principles to entrenched problems, and matters of health equity. She has published scholarship in the Journal of Empirical Legal StudiesSouthern California Law ReviewMinnesota Law ReviewEmory Law JournalUC Davis Law ReviewWashington Law ReviewYale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics; and Journal of Law & the Biosciences among others. She is also co-author of the casebook Contracts: Law in Action, 5th Edition (Carolina Academic Press), and co-editor of Health Law as Private Law: Pathology or Pathway (Cambridge University Press). In addition to her position at DePaul, Professor Epstein has been a visiting professor at the University of Chicago Law School, University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, and Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
