Y. Tony Yang is a tenured endowed professor and Associate Dean for Health Policy and Population Science at the George Washington University. Yang’s research primarily focuses on the impact of laws and policies on healthcare delivery and population health. He has an impressive portfolio of over 150 peer-reviewed publications across top journals in medicine, oncology, pediatrics, health policy, public health, and health law. He is also the lead author of a book on vaccine policy published by Springer in 2023. A recipient of numerous awards and substantial federal funding, including over $6 million from U.S. federal grants as a principal investigator. He has been supported by various foundation funders as principal investigator, including The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Policy for Action, Interdisciplinary Research Leaders and Public Health Law Research). He is a member of AcademyHealth Education Council.
