If you are flying into Atlanta for the conference, we strongly recommend that you take MARTA from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to the conference, particularly during morning or afternoon rush hour traffic. The MARTA Red and Gold lines go directly from the airport to Georgia State Law and the Candler Hotel. The trip is roughly 20 minutes. The cost is $2.50 per trip. You can download the Breeze Mobile app at https://itsmarta.com/breeze-mobile.aspx or you can purchase and load a Breeze Card at the airport station.
To Take MARTA from the Airport:
Georgia State Law and the Candler Hotel are less than a block from the station, just after the Georgia-Pacific building. The Candler Hotel is at the corner of Peachtree Street and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue. Georgia State Law is directly behind the Candler at Park Place and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue.
- Follow signs from Baggage Claim to MARTA. Swipe your Breeze Mobile app or Breeze Card to enter. Follow signs up the escalators or elevator to the platform.
- The airport station is the end of the line going South, so you can get on any train. All trains will be going North.
- Exit the train at Peachtree Center Station. Look for the “To Ellis Street” exit sign in the station and go up the stairs.
- After the gate, go left to take the escalator to the Peachtree Street East exit out of the station.
- Turn left.
- Georgia State Law and the Candler Hotel are less than a block from the station, just after the Georgia-Pacific building. The Candler Hotel is at the corner of Peachtree Street and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue. Georgia State Law is directly behind the Candler at Park Place and John Wesley Dobbs Avenue.
(To return to the Airport, follow signs going South on either the Red or Gold line. Take the train to the end of the line. The last stop will be Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.)
