Kelly DeBie recently completed her PhD in Epidemiology at Colorado State University, where her dissertation work centered on the association between changes in abortion access at the state and national level with travel for abortion, infant mortality, and physician supply. Her background is in law, ethics, public policy, and public health, and her research interests focus on the intersection of policy and population health. She strives to utilize publicly available data whenever possible, looks at everything through a lens of health equity, and leans heavily on natural experiment methods to explore the influence of policy and law on health outcomes.
