Marisa Bartolotta

Compassion and Choices

Marisa Bartolotta is a legal and policy expert specializing in health law, legislative advocacy, and policy development. She currently serves as Policy Counsel at Compassion & Choices, where she provides legislative analysis to advance end-of-life care policy nationwide.

Previously, Marisa was Legal Counsel to the Joint Committee on Public Health in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In that role, she advised the Committee Chairwoman on a broad range of public health issues and served as a key staffer on a landmark maternal health omnibus bill that was ultimately signed into law.

She also worked as a Staff Attorney at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, representing survivors of sexual violence in navigating the criminal justice system and securing workplace and educational protections.

Marisa earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she served on the American Journal of Law & Medicine. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar.
