Rebecca Reingold

Rebecca Reingold, JD is an associate director at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University Law Center. Her work focuses primarily on reproductive health, rights, and justice in the United States and globally. Reingold’s research in the U.S. looks at how law and policy affects the provision of and access to essential reproductive health services. Her analysis has been published by the Journal of the American Medical Association and the British Medical Journal and featured in USA Today, PBS NewsHour, Al Jazeera, and Law360, among others. Reingold previously worked as an associate director of the Center for Health and Human Rights, where she conducted research on health and human rights, sexual and reproductive rights, and violence against women and girls in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is a member of Georgetown University’s Global Maternal & Child Health Collaborative and currently serves on the advisory board of Training in Early Abortion for Comprehensive Healthcare (TEACH). Reingold holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a B.A. in international studies from Middlebury College.
